Examination Structure :-
Selection will be through Examinations and Interview. Examinations will be held in two phases [Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type) and Phase-II
ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type)] as under:
(I) Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type):
This Paper approximately of 120 minutes duration for 200 marks. A candidate , however, has to appear for examination on only one day. The Paper consists tests of
 i) General Awareness
 ii) English Language
 iii) Quantitative Aptitude and
 iv) Reasoning

All the questions will have multiple choices. Out of the five answers to a
question only one will be the correct answer
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by you. For every wrong answer marked by you,1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty
Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the Admission letter for examination from the RBI website.
Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as aggregate, as prescribed by the Board. Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the Examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Objective Test. The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Phase-II of the Examination will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted in Phase-I of the On Line Examination (OE) will be published on RBI website .
(II) Phase-II Written Examination(Descriptive Type):
 The Phase-II Written examination (WE) will be conducted only for those candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of results of Phase-I. The Examination will consist of three  papers –

Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted for interview will be published on RBI website at appropriate time and interview call letters will be sent on registered email ID. Interview will be of 50 marks. Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English. Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview

Test Scheme

There will be test for different disciplines

1.The test paper, except for Pharmacy, will contain 150 objective-type questions in all. Each question will be provided with four alternative answers marked (1), (2), (3) and (4). Of these, only one correct or more appropriate answer should be selected and marked on the OMR sheet with black ball pen only.

2. In Pharmacy, there will be total 210 questions, out of which the students have to attempt 150 questions by taking 60 questions either from Mathematics or from Biology. They have to indicate their option..

3. Each question shall carry four marks. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. One (01) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

4.Tests will be of two hours and thirty minutes duration and will carry 600 marks. Candidates for Art based courses have to appear in Test 1 (which shall decide their merit rank) and also for a separate Aptitude Test for Art based courses of 1.5 hours duration.

5. A centre once allotted by the Controller of CET 2017/Principal, Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic, Rohini, Delhi - 89 will not be changed and no request in this regard will be entertained under any circumstances.

6 The medium / language of the question papers for the entrance test will be as under-
