INI-CET is a Combined Entrance Test (CET) for admission into postgraduate courses [MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh (6 yrs) and MDS] at Institutes of National Importance (INI) for Medical Education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi and all new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, PGIMER-Chandigarh, NIMHANS-Bengaluru.

The INI-CET will be conducted twice a year usually in the month of May for admission for July session in the same year and month of November for admission starting January next year.

For January 2021, session the INI-CET will be held in the month of November, 2020.
INI CET will be administered by AIIMS, New Delhi and it shall be sole authority for conduct of the examination, declaration of results and seat allocation. The INI-CET will be administered in an online mode and almost paperless using its dedicated portal.
