FMGE (MCI SCREENING TEST) 2018
The FMGE is also known as the Medical Council of India
screening test. The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is has been
conducted by the National Board of Examination. FMGE exam is mandatory for an
Indian citizen who has a Medical degree from a college outside India to
practice the medicine in the country. FMGE exam has been introduced in
the year of 2002 for the candidates who have a Medical degree from a college
outside India.
You should really believe yourself that you can clear the
exam with your hard work and some essential basics. Before starting
preparation, it is necessary to understand what you need to prepare and examine
the FMGE syllabus and make strategies and allocate time to each subject accordingly.The
candidate should give their equal weightage to all the Subject or section of
the FMGE syllabus.There are
many Numbers of books in the market by which the you would able to make their
notes easily. It hepls you to revise before examination and its save your time.You
should give your more focus on those topics where you feels that you will not
able to score.
Time Management is most important factor to crack FMGE exam as the course for
FMGE is vast and rigours. Allocating time for each subject and topics on the basis
of marks weightage is important as it helps a student to avoid wasting too much
of time on a given topic.First of all divide each topics into small parts and
then start Preparation as most of the topics of the syllabus are lengthy.
it is very important to have clear concepts of all the
topics. Though, it is expected that basics concept should be strong but still
if there is any doubt, then start working on it and reslove it as soon as
possible by self Assessment.
As all of you remember “Practice makes you perfect”.
Practice as much as you can, through books, notes or online resources. Take
online tests or mock tests to check how much you remember about the subjects,
as FMGE will be conducted in the online mode, so it is important for you taking
an online test on regular basis. Taking such test will increase you confidence
and your speed too.
Overall Revision is must to crack any exam. This advice goes
for all entrance exam preparations, it is necessary that you should revise all
the topics that you have covered. FMGE
exam is no doubt a tough entrance exam to crack, and taking any chance in
preparation will be a very drastic step.What you can do is revise each topic
after you have completed it. You used to do weekly and monthly revisions, apart
from the final round of revision just before exams. If you would able to revise
more, you will get the better chance to imprint all the information in your
memory.
It is also important to check your performance time to time,
to do so solve previous year question papers or join online test series. By solving
question paper or test series, you can figure what your weak area and make a
note what has been done and what is yet to be done. It will also help to
improve your accuracy level and time management. Most important thing in your
study plan was 3 times revision plan for each subject and you should stick to
it till the end.
If you do these subjects well, then you are definitely
qualify FMGE exam easily.

Pharmacology and Biochemistry
