How to Prepare for CLAT English Section?
 
There are 40 questions in this section that test the candidate proficiency in English, based on comprehension passages & grammar. On the Basis of past CLAT papers , its indicate that there were more questions asked from current affairs as compared to traditional General Knowledge.

  • To review past year question papers and make analysis from which topics questions are coming in exam. Then First prepare all these topics and then move on to the other topics.

How to Prepare for CLAT Legal Aptitude Section?

Legal aptitude is the most interesting area of study. In this section 50 questions will came which take more time to answer as compared to the General Knowledge and Current Affairs Section. Here Questions will consist of legal principles that have to be applied to certain situations and legal facts. In this Section questions mainly come from the legal areas of Law of Torts, Law of Contracts and Criminal law and legal General Knowledge This Section will assess the candidate aptitude and his ability to solve problems.

The score in legal aptitude

It is a single common law entrance exam conducted offline (paper-pencil based) for admissions to five-year integrated undergraduate and two-year postgraduate law programmes in over 85 (
MULTIPLE) LAW COLLEGES or  law schools of India .
Candidates have the benefit of taking a single test — the LSAT—India — to become eligible for the admissions process of multiple law colleges in India which recognize the LSAT—India scores.
After completing the LSAT—India registration, candidates can apply to the associated colleges (colleges which will accept LSAT—India scores). Candidates can choose to apply to any or all of the associated colleges, however, LSAT—India scores will be given to all associated colleges. Applicants need to be a citizen of India.
Candidates should have qualified 12th board examination of 10+2 education system of CBSE or any other equivalent education board, if applying for undergraduate law programmes including BA LLB

Those applying for postgraduate law programmes including LLM need to be an LL.B degree holder with minimum qualifying marks. The qualifying marks, however, shall vary for each of the participating colleges across India.

Age Limit

There is no age limit to apply for LSAT India exam.

Nationality/citizenship: A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the govt of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him by the govt of India

Educational qualification: (As on 01/01/2018) : Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
(Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.01.2018 )
Note (a) The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University / Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University / Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University / Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.
(b) Matriculate Exservicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post. Such certificates should be dated on or before 01.01.2018
(c) The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State (mentioned in the advertisement against each state/UT).The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard marksheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

EMOLUMENTS
The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.23600.00 per month inclusive of D.A. and other allowances at the current rate . Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting. They will be eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension under New Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit Scheme), Medical, Leave fare and other facilities, as per the instructions of the Bank as may be issued from time to time.

PROBATION PERIOD: Selected candidates will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Service Regulations of the Bank in force at the time of joining. The newly appointed Junior Associates will be on probation for a Minimum period of 6 months. 15 prescribed e-lessons will
be required to be completed by newly recruited Junior Associates during the probation, for getting confirmed in the Bank, failing which their probation will be extended till completion of the same. 15 prescribed e-lessons (for confirmation) will include role-based e-lessons. Further, before the probation period comes to an end, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated and the probation period of those employees whose performance fails to meet Banks expectation, may be
extended.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)  is the common entrance examination for the National Law Universities of India. It is an online objective test conducted for admission to law universities, who conduct it on a rotating basis. Under-Graduate Programmes
As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2), the candidates must have secured:
1. Forty five percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories, and
 2. Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) categories.
Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, 2018 are also eligible to appear in CLAT-2018 online examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.
In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under:
 1. Higher marks in the component /section on legal aptitude in the CLAT-2018 exam;
 2. Higher age;
 3. Computerised draw of lots.
Age : There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT 2018.
The candidates must have minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination [i.e. LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.)/any other equivalent exam] as under:
1. Fifty five percent (55%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories, and
2. Fifty percent (50%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) categories. 
The candidate must have passed/appeared in the final semester/final year examination of the qualifying examination on the date of his/her admission.
In case of candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination, he/she may submit his/her final result of qualifying examination within the time frame prescribed by the respective University/Institute. Till then such candidates may be given provisional admission.
In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by procedure and order as under:
1. Higher age;
2. Computerized draw of lots. 
The procedure for filling up the Application Form for CLAT-2018: 
The application form for CLAT-2018 shall be filled Online only.
The online application form has to be accessed from the CLAT-2018 website (http://clat.ac.in/). 
CLAT 2018 Application Fee / Previous Years Question Papers Fee : 
1. Application fee for General/OBC/SAP and other category candidates: Rs.4,000/-
2. Application fee for SC/ST category candidates: Rs.3,500/-
3. The cost of previous years question papers is Rs.500/- (not included in the CLAT-2018 application fee of Rs.4,000/- or Rs.3,500/- as the case may be.)
