How to Prepare for CLAT English Section?
 
There are 40 questions in this section that test the candidate proficiency in English, based on comprehension passages & grammar. In the comprehension section, there is one passage of around 450 words that is asked to the candidates to exhibit clear understanding of the passage and answer questions accordingly and its central theme, meanings of words used and their synonyms/antonyms etc. In the grammar section, a candidate will be asked to spoting wrong sentences and correct them, will be asked to apply correct grammar usage at identified sections, will be asked word meanings, fill in the blanks etc.
  • To prepare for English, First of all you can begin by strengthening you grammar by going back to the basics and understanding them. You can refer book by Wren & Martin.

How to Prepare for CLAT General Knowledge and Current Affairs Section?
 
There are 50 questions come from this area and a well prepared candidate can answer these question in the least possible time. In this Section, the candidate will be assessed for his knowledge in current affairs and their general awareness. On the Basis of past CLAT papers , its indicate that there were more questions asked from current affairs as compared to traditional General Knowledge.
  • You can update yourself with latest happenings within India and around the world by reading Newspaper and Magazines
  • To review past year question papers and analyse the pattern of the questions and make plan to prapare accordingly
  • Try to Attempt as many tests as possible.

How to Prepare for CLAT Mathematics Section?
In this section 20 questions will cover elementary mathematics up to Xth standard like time and distance, ages,Mensuration, percentage, profit and loss, simple interest, compound Interest, average , mixture and alligation, time and work, and probability etc.
  • To review past year question papers and make analysis from which topics questions are coming in exam. Then First prepare all these topics and then move on to the other topics.
  • If you are not in postion to solve question then go to basic and clear your concepts thoroughly. Once you have a clear concept of the topics, it will be easy for you to answer the questions.

How to Prepare for CLAT Legal Aptitude Section?

Legal aptitude is the most interesting area of study. In this section 50 questions will came which take more time to answer as compared to the General Knowledge and Current Affairs Section. Here Questions will consist of legal principles that have to be applied to certain situations and legal facts. In this Section questions mainly come from the legal areas of Law of Torts, Law of Contracts and Criminal law and legal General Knowledge This Section will assess the candidate aptitude and his ability to solve problems.

The score in legal aptitude
section will also be helpful in the event of a tie breaker in case equal marks is obtained by two or more candidates, then the score in this section will be used to decide the better of the two. So, it is important that you can score more in this section.

How to Prepare for CLAT Logical Reasoning Section? 
Last but not the least this section comprises 40 questions tests a candidate ability to identify patterns, think logically and identify illogical arguments. It will comprise questions from logical sequence, deductions or syllogism, analogies, odd man out, statement and assumptions etc.

I. First of all try to understand what questions say? If you understand the question, you can easily give the right answer for that question. So you should have to read the question carefully.
 II. Everytime tries to solve questions with proper formulas and shortcut tricks. As time is most importantant part your Exam.
III. As there is negative marking – So try to attempt those questions which you have sure as there is a negative marking  for every wrong answer and so you are advised to be careful in answering the questions in exam and Don’t try to attempt all questions.
