MAHARASHTRA COMBINED COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (MH CET)
Government of Maharashtra conducts a single stage Combined Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) for admission to First Year of full time Under Graduate Degree courses in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) and Pharmacy (B.Pharm/Pharm D.)
in the Government, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State .
The Competent Authority for the conduct of MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) examination is Commissioner, State CET Cell, Maharashtra, Mumbai
Eligibility
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian National.
Age: There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2018
Educational Qualification:
All the candidates passed / appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2018
Exam Dates and Schedule
MHT CET schedule is notified by Competent Authority and Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Tentatively the forms are issued in Month of March and test is generally conducted in month of May.

For submission of online application form the candidates should login at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mhtcet2018 website.

Application Fees :
Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid through online system only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates : Rs. 800/-
For Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates
belonging to Maharashtra State only : Rs. 600/-
Examination Centres
Generally the MH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is conducted at all the district headquarters of the state of Maharashtra. The MHT-CET examination centre is generally within the same district from where the candidate has passed / is appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination.
For the eligible candidates passing qualifying examination from outside the state of Maharashtra, the Competent Authority allots the examination center.
